Best Wedding Venues In Halifax

Holdsworth House in Halifax is one of my favourite local wedding venues! A beautiful Jacobean Manor House dating back to the late 1600's, it is now a hotel and an incredibly popular wedding venue. There are quite a few different spots within Holdsworth House to hold your ceremony, and I think I've photographed most of them now; The Abraham Brigg Room being the most popular option, I've also photographed ceremonies in the Hall, outdoor ceremonies on the lawn, larger weddings in the Stuart Room and even a tiny editorial photoshoot for a magazine out in the Gazebo!

Wedding Photography at Holdsworth House, Halifax

FEATURED WEDDING - I bloody loved this wedding! Nic and Abi (and their gorgeous little dog!) held their ceremony in the Hall, which is the perfect spot for a more intimate wedding. After a beautiful ceremony including their dog as the ring bearer, they enjoyed some time outside for confetti, canapes, drinks and photos.

The couple and their guests then headed back inside for super emotional speeches and food upstairs in the De Aldworth private dining room, followed by an amazing evening party including an outfit change for both brides (because who wouldn't want a sparkly jumpsuit and tartan pants for the night do!) a first dance with their dog, and plenty fun and laughter!
