Elizabeth Gaskell's House is a little hidden gem in the centre of Manchester - historic home of Victorian novelist Elizabeth Gaskell, and now a museum, it is perfect for those intimate smaller ceremonies! Ruth and Mark chose this beautiful venue for their smaller wedding ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. Ruth looked amazing in her Mum's vintage 90's wedding dress and this day was a perfect example of throwing out traditions and just doing things your way!

After their lovely emotional ceremony which included readings from their favourite books and films, the couple and their guests did a treasure hunt around the venue and had personalised quizzes and puzzles to complete, followed by afternoon tea and board games!
