Barca Bar Wedding Manchester

Feast your eyes on this glam black-tie monochrome beauty! I had a little trek over the border to glorious sunny Manchester, one of my favourite places, for this wedding; there's definitely something special about Manchester - the people, the grit, the spirit of the place, I absolutely love it!

One time Emo Kids Jess and Nathan chose fab Castlefield venue Barca Bar to host their big day. I joined Jess and the girls the morning of the wedding nearby at the Albert and Victoria hotel to snap a few getting ready photos before the ceremony, I loved Jess's choice of dress and bridesmaid dresses, the classic black and white colour scheme really suited the day! Jess and the girls did their own hair and make up, and the outfits were finished off with some fab styled leather jackets which in the morning rush got left at the hotel! Top tip, double check you have everything you need before you leave for the ceremony!!

 

Barca Bar, Manchester

Barca Bar, Castlefield, is a fab little spot with a private balcony overlooking Manchester ship canal, it has a quirky, urban, classic style which Jess and Nathan had styled beautifully with a flower wall for those all important selfies, and some simple but classic black and white table settings. There were also a few subtle Alan Partridge references dotted around, a big love of Jessica and Nathan, which just goes to show you really can chose anything as your wedding theme! 

Ceremony done, it was time to relax and enjoy the free flowing drinks and head down under the arches for some cool fun family photos! I then had a walk around the canal with Jess and Nathan and found some lovely spots for some photos of just the two of them.

After a tasty meal and some fab speeches from friends and family, it was time for everyone to let their hair down and hit the dancefloor! (After sampling some treats from that massive doughnut wall!))
