A History Themed Wedding At Holdsworth House, Halifax

September 26, 2018

So this is the one where my son's history teacher married my other half's boss, and I got to photograph it! Laura and Andy were married at the amazingly gorgeous Holdsworth House in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Holdsworth House is a Grade II listed building - built in 1633, this Jacobean mansion is definitely up there as one my favourite wedding venues in Halifax, I love its character and history! And what a place to have a history themed wedding!

Laura looked bloody beautiful in her House of Mooshki dress, whilst Andy and his daughter looked fab in matching suits. The ceremony began with Laura walking herself down the aisle to Joy Division! The whole day had lots of personal touches, I love it when couples inject their personality into the day; there was a History theme running throughout the day, and you can't have a room full of history teachers without doing a quiz!! :)

Congratulations Laura & Andy, you were bloody brill!!
